Dr Hills at Cove Dental offers IV Sedation for patients that would like a more comfortable dental experience. If you are anxious or would prefer not to endure a lengthy procedure, our sleep dentistry option may be suitable for you.

During the procedure, a sedative drug is administered which will ensure you remain conscious enough to follow instructions - in a pain free and relaxed state.

It is important to let us know if you require IV sedation in advance - as a trained anaesthesiologist will be booked in for your appointment. It is also recommended that you arrange for someone to pick you up from your appointment as you will not be able to operate a motor vehicle afterwards.
